The Lamborghini Huracán (Spanish for “hurricane”) is a sports car built by Lamborghini, replacing it’s sales leader and most produced car, the Gallardo. The Huracán’s name is inspired by a Spanish fighting bull – names from historical Spanish fighting bulls has been the traditional naming scheme of most Lamborghini car models. Huracán was a bull known for its courage that fought in 1879. Also, Huracan is the Mayan god of wind, storm and fire and this new supercar by Lamborghini is an explosion of performances and HP.
Having made its auto show debut at the March 2014 Geneva Auto Show, and was released in the second quarter of 2014. The name of the Huracan LP 610-4 comes from the fact that this car has 610 metric horsepower and 4 wheel drive, while LP stands for “Longitudinale Posteriore”, which refers to the longitudinal mid-rear engine position. The Huracán was named “The Supercar of the Year 2014” by car magazine Top Gear.
Its frame is an alloy of carbon and aluminium that grants an incredibile grip on the road. This model represents the very special aftermarket edition in the bicolor version.
